A restoration with extensive additions to a single-story house on private cul-de-sac adjacent a park for a family of 4.
We juxtaposed contemporary and clear geometries, with an eccentric and individualistic approach to materiality, using a palette of quartz renders, exposed concrete, timber and copper, with sand blasted stainless steel sheeting to the roof and soffits.
We eroded the space vertically wherever possible, creating snorkels for diffused light, and a sense of scale and intrigue.
