Extensive alterations for a young family in a short and quiet little street close to the Bronte coastline.

Client’s emotional brief was for a formally focussed, crisp and delineated architecture, with a ‘less is more’ attitude, that also encouraged a sense of presence and intrigue in the work.

Therefore a formal and clear tectonic vocabulary was embraced, along with a constant reminder of one’s location and it’s sense of environmental drama, by framing and emphasising a curated exposure to the elements.
