T3 retail/residential/hotel mixed-use development.
The winning entry in the limited competition. Situated adjacent T3 airport, the design takes its cues from the surrounding airport hangers. Consisting of police headquarters and accommodation with high-end retail, commercial spaces, a hotel and individual high-quality apartments. The design is founded on principles of geometric and spatial clarity that are reflected in its horizontal and vertical organisation of space, within ESD principles, whilst exploring emotional ideas of structuralism, porosity and transparency.
