Alterations to a house for an art collector and film producer with their young son that expected an expansive approach to an architecture of presence. The Client’s emotional brief was to push exterior connections and evoke relaxed recreational environment within a formally alert series of spaces.
The functional brief was to enable a complex use of geometries and materials, using a simple yet striking palette to demarcate areas and coordinate with their love of art collection, water and reflection.
