A proposal for extensive remodelling to an existing house within a leafy reserve environment challenged by site orientation and depth of building.

The proposal was to fragment and deconstruct the elements into a delicate tectonic language to merge into, and blur the architectural object, within the dominant landscaped context.

Subtlety and fine grain thinking in structure and materiality, whilst eroding as many opportunities as possible into the architecture, was employed to emphasis a richness and a diverse organic sense, whilst allowing for solar penetration into all parts of the house.
